A D-Link Case Study
King Edward VI College, a leading sixth-form college in the West Midlands, needed to extend reliable Wi-Fi across its campus as students increasingly used smartphones, netbooks, and tablets for learning. D-Link worked with the college to address the challenge of providing continuous wireless access throughout the site for nearly 1,500 students and staff.
D-Link implemented a campus-wide network with 80 wireless access points, Gigabit Ethernet switches, and a centralized unified controller to manage the system. The result was robust Wi-Fi across the college, easier network administration, faster policy and password updates across the campus, and the ability for students to connect from any classroom without needing a dedicated IT suite.
