D-Link Collaborates with aQuestora to Provide Switches for Consumer Glass Fibre Networks

aQuestora, a neutral independent operator of glass fibre networks in the Netherlands, wanted to deliver fast and reliable internet, telephony, and TV services to suburbs and remote villages. To fully use the bandwidth of its fibre network, the company needed high-throughput networking infrastructure and a partner that would treat local projects as an opportunity for larger-scale applications. D-Link provided the switching technology needed for the project.

D-Link supplied switches incorporating 5,000 active ports for aQuestora’s consumer glass fibre networks. The deployment has been highly reliable, with none of the hundreds of installed switches dropping out, and aQuestora said it was convinced by D-Link’s collaboration and fast response times. As a result, D-Link is expected to continue supplying additional IT products for aQuestora’s ongoing local commercial projects.
