D Hotel Gets Seamless Wi-Fi with D-Link

Malaysia D Hotel, a 3-star property in Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak, needed to deploy reliable guest Wi-Fi across the entire hotel in less than two months before opening. D-Link was brought in to deliver the wireless infrastructure, including access points, a wireless controller, and managed switches, while also integrating the solution with two other vendors.

D-Link implemented a complete wireless network using the DWC-2000 Unified Wireless Controller, DWL-2600 APs, and DGS-1510-28P PoE smart switches. The result was seamless roaming on every floor, centralized AP management, automatic power and channel adjustment, and easier administration, while interoperability with a third-party hotspot server helped Malaysia D Hotel avoid additional investment.
