A D-Link Case Study
Colorado Independent School District (ISD), serving about 1,100 students in North Central Texas, needed a better way to protect students and property after occasional break-ins and vandalism. To support its school safety goals, the district turned to D-Link IP surveillance solutions, including wired and wireless cameras and networked storage.
D-Link implemented a system of wired and wireless IP cameras connected to DNS-726-4 SecureCenter two-bay NVRs, supported by D-Link switches and wireless access points, plus a DCS-3420 Wireless Day and Night Network Camera in the middle school gym. The result was broader campus security coverage, high-resolution footage that helped investigate suspected theft and vandalism, and easy remote viewing for principals and the superintendent. Colorado ISD reported improved hallway calm and greater peace of mind after catching thieves in the gym.
