Defined.ai, an AI training data company and marketplace, needed a more engaging way to support digital interactions and customer service. Working with D-ID, it explored lifelike avatars to enhance user engagement and showcase conversational AI in a more human way, including a pilot with the Portuguese Agency for Modernization (AMA).

Using D-ID’s API and chat platform, Defined.ai implemented digital people on the front end of its website to answer questions about government services and demonstrate real-time conversations with photorealistic avatars and neural voices across web and app channels. The D-ID solution helped Defined.ai separate external and internal use cases securely, support live demos, and strengthen its value proposition with a documented API and responsive technical support.
