A Cyvl Case Study
The city of Beverly, MA faced a challenge with its infrastructure knowledge being trapped in silos across separate departments, relying on paper records and manual counts. The city wanted a single, accurate source of data to build programs upon and turned to the vendor Cyvl for a solution.
Cyvl implemented a living source of ground truth by tying pavement condition data to the city's own map. This solution powered Beverly's street-opening permit program, which now uses Cyvl's data to levy fees based on road condition. This has created a significant revenue engine, generating six-figure annual permit revenue and providing ward-level transparency for city councilors.
