How T-Systems Solved Its Data Center Challenges to Offer Dynamic Services to the U.S

T-Systems, part of Deutsche Telekom Group, provides global ICT solutions and wanted to extend its fully virtualized Dynamic Services (IaaS, SaaS and enterprise applications) into the U.S. market. To meet strict recovery point/time objectives and deliver industry-leading SLAs, T-Systems needed a twin-core, highly redundant data center architecture because legacy clustering delivered only 70–80% RPO/RTO success.

T-Systems implemented NetApp MetroCluster synchronous mirroring and selected CyrusOne’s Houston facility as the U.S. twin-core site thanks to its top-tier certification, 99.999% availability, military-grade security, dense architecture and redundant power and cooling. The mirrored storage network and twin-site setup now form one of 16 twin-core data centers for T-Systems, enabling reliable, cost-effective, scalable Dynamic Services in the U.S. and supporting the company’s market growth.
