Case Study: Colégio São João de Brito streamlines online teaching and grading with CYPHER Learning

Transitioning from traditional teaching to online teaching

Colégio São João de Brito, a private Catholic K-12 school in Lisbon, Portugal, needed a way to adapt traditional teaching methods to the changing needs of technology-oriented students. The school wanted a digital platform that could support quick communication, complement in-person classes, and work across different subjects and teaching styles. It turned to CYPHER Learning and its LMS to help bridge the gap between the physical classroom and online interaction.

Using CYPHER Learning’s LMS, teachers shared materials, ran group discussions, assigned quizzes, and had students upload videos and answers directly in the platform. This made evaluation and grading much easier and more immediate, with Dr. Joana Rigato noting that feedback was “immediate” and “effortless.” The result was stronger engagement, more flexible multimedia learning, and a streamlined assessment process for more than 1,500 students.
