Case Study: Fundación Capital expands financial literacy training with CYPHER Learning

Extended financial literacy to underserved communities

Fundación Capital, an NGO in Colombia, needed a cost-effective way to scale financial literacy and entrepreneurship training from a small pilot to tens of thousands of families across remote regions. To do this, they needed to train more coaches while maintaining quality, learner engagement, and consistent delivery without the expense of extensive travel. They chose CYPHER Learning and its LMS to support the initiative.

Using CYPHER Learning’s user-friendly, mobile-accessible online course platform, Fundación Capital created asynchronous training for coaches and used forums to enable peer-to-peer learning, feedback, and sharing of best practices. The results included training 25,000+ families, expanding the program beyond Colombia into other countries, and improving program design and sustainability through ongoing digital learning.
