Case Study: STI College delivers outcome-based education with CYPHER Learning

CYPHER facilitated better tracking of student progress and enhanced collaboration

STI College, one of the largest school networks in the Philippines with 76 campuses and more than 80,000 students, needed a way to support its shift from traditional teaching to an outcome-based education model. The school also needed to ensure teachers across the network were properly trained to use the LMS consistently and to better track student progress, attendance, and competency development. CYPHER Learning was the vendor and its LMS was the product used.

CYPHER Learning implemented a centralized LMS that standardized course delivery across campuses, enabled drip content, improved analytics and reporting, and made it easier for teachers to add assessments and monitor competencies. The results included better collaboration between students and teachers, more efficient administrative work, easier grading, improved student organization and engagement, and faster identification of learners who needed intervention. STI College reported that CYPHER Learning helped make paperwork lighter for teachers and gave students easier access to lessons, deadlines, and submissions.
