Wolters Kluwer Increases Visibility and Control of its Security Posture

Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information and software that handles highly sensitive PII (notably HR and HCM/payroll data), needed to ensure GDPR and supply‑chain resilience while continuously understanding the real security level of their environment and staying up to date on emerging threats. To address this, Wolters Kluwer engaged Cymulate and its breach-and-attack simulation capabilities to evaluate and strengthen their security across the SDLC and infrastructure.

Cymulate operationalized the MITRE ATT&CK framework for Wolters Kluwer, delivering continuous, threat‑intelligence–led assessments and visualized attack paths that exposed previously undetected gaps. As a result, Cymulate gave clear security‑stack visibility, decreased time to detect and remediate vulnerabilities, enabled risk‑based prioritization of fixes, optimized security resources (freeing capacity for new projects), and improved C‑level reporting and team effectiveness.
