tokyobike is a hybrid brand and retailer with a DTC Shopify operation and physical stores worldwide, selling both its own products and partner brands like Thousand. Introduced to Cymbio by a marketplace, tokyobike faced the challenge of expanding digital sales channels while easing the burdensome data mapping, transformation, and formatting required for partner brands to list products — a pain point for Thousand that threatened the retailer–brand relationship.
Cymbio implemented its automation platform to onboard tokyobike onto two additional marketplaces (with a drop‑ship partnership forthcoming) and automated Thousand’s product data, order and inventory management to simplify selling on tokyobike. As a result of Cymbio’s work, tokyobike’s yearly GMV grew by over 170%, manual data management was eliminated for Thousand, and both brand and retailer gained the operational ability to scale and sell more easily.
