Investa Property Group, one of Australia’s largest commercial real estate companies, needed better endpoint security for a highly mobile workforce. Its IT team had difficulty keeping anti-virus signatures updated for devices often operating off the network, and it had little visibility into malicious activity on endpoints. Cylance was brought in to address those gaps with CylancePROTECT.

Cylance deployed CylancePROTECT to protect employees’ machines on and off the network and provide visibility into attacks as they happened. Investa said it was up and running within a day, compared with a week of planning for the competing product, and later reported no incidents, including through the WannaCry and Petra-like ransomware outbreaks. The company also experienced no false positives and a significant drop in CPU consumption from AV activities.
