Insurance Holding Company, an insurance company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, needed to respond to a compromise event that spanned a number of hosts and replace less effective traditional antivirus tools. After being urged by an outside agency to seek help immediately, the company evaluated CylancePROTECT from Cylance before completing a purchase order for a different security platform.

CylancePROTECT was deployed on the company’s highest-priority endpoints within 30 minutes. In the first 45 minutes, Cylance identified and quarantined more than 30 unique pieces of malware that Symantec and CrowdStrike had missed, and it also blocked older malware samples without signatures, heuristics, behavioral analysis, or a network connection. The result was stronger protection across 8,600 endpoints, along with lower total cost of ownership and easier deployment and management.
