Formel D, the global service provider for the automotive industry, needed to secure a highly distributed workforce and protect sensitive customer data from malware, ransomware, trojans, and drive-by downloads. Its centralized IT team in Germany had to manage operations across Europe, China, India, and North and South America, while remote employees often worked offline and used USBs to store data.

Formel D deployed CylancePROTECT across user machines and Windows Exchange, application, and database servers, and also used CylanceOPTICS for investigations and ThreatZERO Services to improve configuration and usage. Cylance helped the team roll out protection quickly across 2,000 machines in about a day, and after deployment the volume of threats fell to just a handful per week.
