Cape plc is an international energy services company with 16,400 employees and 2,500 endpoints protected by CylancePROTECT®. Its security team was dealing with ransomware attacks, zero-day exposure, and the strain of remediating infections with limited resources, including a three-day turnaround to re-image machines at remote locations.

Cylance deployed CylancePROTECT to protect Cape’s laptops and servers on and off network without added infrastructure. After rollout, Cape reported zero incidents of ransomware and zero-days, along with zero downtime from endpoint security incidents. The company also said the product would have prevented a ransomware attack that took down its U.K. file shares for four hours, causing about £40,000GBP or $50,100US in lost productivity.
