Case Study: Australian Museum strengthens endpoint security with CylancePROTECT

A Cylance Case Study

Preview of the Australian Museum Case Study

Australian Museum - Customer Case Study

The Australian Museum, Australia’s oldest museum, needed to better secure its extensive research and collection data after its antivirus systems failed to stop malware attacks. The museum also had to protect the systems used by more than 60 scientists and manage 400 endpoints across business and research environments.

The Australian Museum deployed CylancePROTECT on 100 machines in a month-long proof of concept, where it scanned 19 million files and quarantined a couple hundred executables and software items. After rolling it out, the museum said it had not seen any viruses execute, and it now uses CylancePROTECT and its dashboard to monitor malware attempts and automatically scan USB devices.
