Cygnet Infotech worked with a USA based Email Marketing Consultant and Web Services Firm that needed to streamline storage and distribution of its database across multiple users’ iPads. The customer wanted a secure way to consolidate distributed databases into a centralized server, keep records synchronized at regular intervals, and let remote users access data without exposing the database location.

Cygnet Infotech built a prototype using Windows Azure, SQL Azure, Sync Framework, C#, and .NET Framework 4.0 to synchronize on-premise and mobile data with a central SQL Azure database. The solution automated updates through Sync Orchestrator, handled conflicts, and provided secure web services for viewing and downloading data; as a result, the client gained up-to-date centralized access, common storage, and a more reliable, error-free synchronization process.
