How Weinbrenner Shoes Produces Colorful Output with MarkMagic

Weinbrenner Shoe Company, a U.S. maker of tactical, uniform and safety footwear with two factories and ISO 9001 certification, needed to move beyond standard thermal barcode case labels to full-color box labels for brand and retail packaging. To do this they selected CYBRA Corporation’s MarkMagic Barcode Label Software and the MarkMagic PDF Option to add color and variable graphics to their labeling process.

Using a custom batch program that pulls Work In Process, Current Production Release and Product Master data to build label files with variable graphics, Weinbrenner now prints full-color box labels on IBM 1354 Color Laser Printers using plain white pressure-sensitive stock. CYBRA Corporation’s MarkMagic solution enabled production of colorful, data-driven box labels for in‑stock brands sold to uniform channels (e.g., Cintas) and supported continued compliance for major customers like the USPS and the Department of Defense.
