ARCINOVA, a pharmaceutical research company, faced the complex challenge of inheriting and separating a mixed IT infrastructure from its previous owner, Covance, following an acquisition. This sensitive transition required them to establish a new, fully independent and GxP-compliant IT system while ensuring minimal business disruption and protecting highly confidential data. Cybit implemented a comprehensive solution, beginning with a rapid two-week consultancy to understand the complex systems and deliver a costed transition plan. They then executed a six-month Transition Service Agreement (TSA), procuring new hardware, migrating systems, and securely integrating them into a new, cohesive environment while Covance repatriated its data. The result was a right-sized, GxP-compliant IT infrastructure for ARCINOVA, delivered on budget. Cybit's work enabled a smooth acquisition by providing accurate initial cost forecasts and ensuring all regulatory and business continuity requirements were met.
