Large Beverage Producer expands wetside control with Cybertrol Engineering and 41,000 HMI tags

The large beverage producer faced a challenge with its initial control system for batching and ultra-high temperature processing, which lacked comprehensive documentation. Cybertrol Engineering was engaged to provide a new control system and prepare the necessary piping and instrumentation drawings for the complete wetside process.

Cybertrol Engineering implemented a solution that grew to include 14 Allen-Bradley PLCs and 22 Wonderware HMI computers to control all wetside processes. The results included the creation of over 1,300 sheets of drawings and 22,000 pages of PLC code, which established a high standard of documentation for easier maintenance, troubleshooting, and training following every system expansion.
