St Paul’s Cathedral - Customer Case Study

St. Paul’s Cathedral, a major heritage site and tourist venue, faced a challenge with its outdated DOS-based point-of-sale (EPoS) system that could not support its expanding retail business. The cathedral needed a modern, cost-effective, and intuitive solution to improve service, manage stock, and process card payments efficiently. They selected the multi-channel EPoS and e-commerce software from vendor Cybertill to address these needs.

Cybertill implemented its integrated software, which streamlined in-store sales with new touchscreen tills and provided robust back-end stock management. The solution also enabled St. Paul’s to launch a successful transactional e-commerce website to capture international sales. As a result, the cathedral gained significantly better control over its inventory, increased shop revenue, and efficiently managed over 156,000 annual customers. The Cybertill system provided a unified platform that supported both physical and online sales growth.
