Modulblok transforms and streamlines the order-based production planning process

Modulblok, a manufacturer of warehouse storage and logistics systems, faced a significant challenge when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the shutdown of its production facility. The company needed to maintain its administrative and commercial operations remotely and then plan a safe and efficient restart of production under highly variable conditions. To address this, Modulblok relied on its existing advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software, CyberPlan, from the vendor Cybertec.

The solution from Cybertec enabled Modulblok's production planners to update and manage production plans entirely from remote locations. The CyberPlan software allowed the team to run simulations, evaluate different restart scenarios, and frequently redefine production priorities on a daily or more frequent basis. This flexibility, provided by Cybertec, allowed Modulblok to minimize the consequences of the pandemic and prepare an optimal plan for resuming operations efficiently.
