Ruby Tuesday Hong Kong, a franchisee of Ruby Tuesday Inc. with seven outlets across Hong Kong, needed to quickly shift to a contactless, COVID-friendly customer experience as tourism slowed and walk-in traffic dropped during the pandemic. Working with Cybersource, alongside Tofugear and Global Payments, the company looked to speed up its digital transformation with online ordering, pickup, and contactless payments such as PayWave.

Cybersource helped Ruby Tuesday Hong Kong launch a customer-centric mobile app and an omnichannel loyalty program, enabling customers to browse menus, order and pay for dine-in or pickup, and receive AI-driven personalized recommendations based on past orders. The loyalty program supported membership signups, discounts, and personalized marketing. The results included a 16% increase in table turn and a 22% increase in the loyal member base, showing how Cybersource helped improve both operational efficiency and customer retention.
