The United States Air Force (USAF) needed a way to help development teams focus on mission-critical applications while reducing attack surface and improving security across the DoD software lifecycle. CyberRes implemented Fortify within the USAF’s Platform One and Iron Bank DevSecOps environment, integrating application security scanning directly into development and testing cycles. This helped teams find and fix issues earlier, accelerate application delivery, reduce cyberattack risk, and ship releases multiple times a day, with applications launching in days rather than months and improved time, cost, and accreditation efficiency.
