SIX, the Swiss financial market infrastructure provider, needed to comply with new strict financial services regulations without disrupting its distributed DevOps environment or overhauling existing processes. To address this challenge, SIX worked with CyberRes and used Micro Focus Voltage SecureData Enterprise to protect sensitive client identifiable data while keeping applications and data flows intact.

CyberRes implemented a data-centric security approach that encrypts data at source and decrypts it only when necessary, extending protection across data at rest, in transit, and in use. The result was full regulatory compliance in a minimally invasive way, stronger support for secure analytics in Cloudera, and a flexible, cost-effective security framework that fit SIX’s complex environment.
