Pulsen helped an automotive manufacturer separate its IT environment from its former parent company’s infrastructure under a tight 18-month deadline. The company needed a new identity management architecture to control user identities across employees, dealers, suppliers, and other partners, and to replace multiple internal and external account-management systems. CyberRes provided NetIQ Identity Manager and NetIQ Access Manager for the project.

CyberRes and Pulsen implemented a single point of control for identity and access management, integrating Identity Manager with SAP HR and PARMA and using Access Manager for web access across more than 300 applications. The solution reduced administrative workload by replacing 10 separate systems, enabled self-service password resets and rapid account provisioning, and improved security by allowing access to be revoked instantly when employees leave. It also made it faster and easier to launch new applications securely and in compliance with access policies.
