Ministry of Education, Israel - Customer Case Study

The Ministry of Education in Israel needed a scalable way to manage identity and access for about 2,500 internal users and more than 2,000,000 students and teachers across 100+ systems. With accounts and authentication handled separately, the Ministry faced data duplication, manual provisioning, inconsistent password policies, and a cumbersome helpdesk burden. CyberRes, through NetIQ Identity Manager and NetIQ Access Manager, was selected to address these identity management and access challenges.

CyberRes implemented automated user provisioning, self-service password reset, single sign-on, identity federation, and centralized identity governance across internal and cloud applications. The result was fully automated provisioning for more than two million users, reduced helpdesk costs, stronger security and visibility, and easier monitoring through audit reporting. The Ministry also reported faster onboarding, with users gaining appropriate access from day one, and a future-proof solution that can scale toward three million users.
