Lentis, a major mental healthcare organization in the Netherlands, needed a more secure and efficient way to manage identities as its IT environment grew in size and complexity. The company was relying on manual processes to provision new users, which could take up to two weeks, and it risked former employees retaining access to confidential information. CyberRes, through NetIQ Identity Manager, was the vendor behind the identity management solution.

CyberRes helped Lentis upgrade NetIQ Identity Manager and connect it to the organization’s HRM system, Beaufort, so user accounts can be created and removed automatically when employee records change. The solution is expected to nearly eliminate manual provisioning, reduce IT workload, improve identity policy management, and strengthen security by making access available almost instantly and removing departed users from systems right away.
