Largest Mining Company, one of the world’s largest mining companies with operations in 30 countries, needed a more secure and scalable identity and access management approach as it expanded globally. Working with CyberRes, it sought to better control information flow, speed up user provisioning, automate password management, and strengthen compliance reporting across a highly complex, distributed IT environment.

CyberRes implemented NetIQ Identity Manager, NetIQ Access Manager, NetIQ Sentinel Enterprise, and NetIQ Self Service Password Reset, integrating them with SAP GRC and Active Directory to support governance, auditing, and secure access. The results were significant: password-related service desk tickets dropped from 17,000 to 2,000 per month, new user provisioning time fell from one week to one day, and the company gained richer auditing and reporting with a flexible IAM foundation for future growth.
