Lantmäteriet, Sweden’s public authority for mapping, land boundaries, and property registration, needed a better way to manage identity and access across more than 200 applications and multiple platforms. With over 2,000 employees and around 20,000 external users, the organization struggled with slow onboarding, inconsistent logins, limited visibility into user access, and password-related helpdesk issues. CyberRes provided NetIQ identity and access management tools to address these challenges.
CyberRes implemented NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, Sentinel Enterprise, Change Guardian, and Self Service Password Reset to create a consolidated, automated identity and access environment. The solution reduced new-user onboarding from 32 days to five days, improved security and team collaboration, and lowered IT workload; Lantmäteriet also reported that 98.5% of identity and access issues are now resolved within two days.
