DX Labs, a technology partner operating in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, helped a banking client address a complex identity and access management challenge. The bank needed to comply with stricter banking regulations while improving visibility into application access and reducing the time required to provision, update, and terminate users across a mix of home-grown and commercial SWIFT-enabled applications. CyberRes products used in the engagement included NetIQ Identity Manager, NetIQ eDirectory, NetIQ Self Service Password Reset, and NetIQ Access Manager.

CyberRes and DX Labs implemented a streamlined identity lifecycle and single sign-on solution by integrating NetIQ Identity Manager with the bank’s SWIFT interface and using eDirectory as a centralized credentials repository. The result was 80% faster user onboarding, with new user setup reduced from two working days to about two hours, and a 60% reduction in administrative workload through automated approval workflows. The solution also improved access transparency for audits, reduced password management costs, and helped disable inactive accounts in real time to strengthen security.
