DNeX Technology S/B (DNeX) is a leading Malaysian service provider in trade facilitation and energy, and its managed security services division needed a cost-effective way to deliver 24x7 security monitoring, SIEM, SOC building, and log management for financial services and critical infrastructure customers. The challenge was meeting strict central bank monitoring requirements and supporting always-on threat detection without the expense of every customer running its own on-site SOC. CyberRes provided ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager to help address this need.

CyberRes implemented ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager in DNeX’s datacenter to process and analyze customer security logs in near real time, with less than five seconds of lag, while supporting automated correlation, reporting, dashboards, and custom connector development. The solution filters out about 80% of incoming events as noise, improves visibility across diverse sources, and helped DNeX build FlexConnectors much faster, including 22 connectors in two weeks instead of four, while enabling a lean SOC model with only two staff per shift. DNeX also reported that the approach can cut customer costs by up to 50% compared with on-site SOCs.
