Carante Groep - Customer Case Study

Carante Groep, a collaboration of twelve independent care organizations in the Netherlands, needed a more cost-effective and user-friendly alternative to hardware token-based MFA to protect sensitive healthcare data. The organization also wanted an authentication solution that could support remote workers and integrate more directly with applications. CyberRes, through its NetIQ Advanced Authentication product, fit the need.

CyberRes implemented NetIQ Advanced Authentication, enabling MFA through smartphones and simple app-based access while leveraging Active Directory data for secure, convenient logins. The solution was rolled out quickly with support from Micro Focus, reduced MFA management effort and costs, and proved popular with end users. During the COVID-19 surge, CyberRes also provided unlimited licenses at no charge, allowing Carante Groep to expand homeworking immediately to over 3,000 additional employees and grow to more than 5,000 remote workers.
