Archdiocese of Munich and Freising - Customer Case Study

The Archdiocese of Munich and Freising needed a secure identity management solution to help around 8,000 employees and volunteers access email, calendars, documents, and other systems more efficiently. Manual, paper-based processes were slow, hard to monitor, and made it difficult to manage different access rights across the organization. CyberRes provided NetIQ Identity Manager to address these challenges.

CyberRes implemented NetIQ Identity Manager with partner IS4IT to automate provisioning and streamline user administration workflows across HR, collaboration, travel expense, VPN, file servers, and more. The result was faster account setup, better data quality, and improved security through automatic removal of unneeded access and detection of orphaned accounts. A new user request that once took several days can now be processed in about 15 minutes.
