A Cyberpion Case Study

Preview of the E.ON Case Study

International Energy Company Hardens Defenses Against Infrastructure Supply Chain Attacks

E.ON, the European electric utility company serving 53 million customers across 30 countries, needed to better understand and reduce cyber risk across its expanding external attack surface, including third-party, nth-party, and partner relationships. To address this challenge, E.ON turned to Cyberpion and its Ecosystem Security platform to gain visibility into its broader digital supply chain.

Cyberpion provided a web-based SaaS platform that required no installation and delivered continuous discovery and inventory of E.ON’s internet-facing assets and extended vendor ecosystem, along with multi-layered risk assessment across web, cloud, DNS, and PKI infrastructure. As a result, E.ON reduced manual overhead through automated mapping, improved prioritization of vulnerabilities, and proactively mitigated threats to help prevent operational disruption, data loss, and ransomware attacks.
