A Cyberbit Case Study
OECD Country Based International Airport, an international airport operator, faced limited control and visibility across a complex baggage‑handling OT/IT network (ticketing/tagging and a Siemens LCM), plus the need to ensure operational continuity, regulatory compliance and protection against cyber threats. The airport selected Cyberbit and deployed Cyberbit SCADAShield (later combined with Cyberbit SOC 3D for SOC management) to secure both the passenger and logistics sides of its baggage processes.
Cyberbit implemented strengthened DPI sensors at main and backup sites, a centralized management server and SIEM integration with the airport SOC; the solution was deployed on passenger and logistic baggage systems. Cyberbit SCADAShield delivered a behavioral baseline within hours, full real‑time asset discovery (including a complete list of IPs), immediate detection of unauthorized devices and illegal messages, rapid surfacing of configuration issues (e.g., controllers with duplicate IPs), protocol hardening and real‑time OT malfunction alerts—significantly improving visibility, continuity and security across the airport’s operational network.
