US Insurance Firm Bolsters Security and Compliance With Cyberark

Federated Insurance, a U.S. insurance firm operating in 49 states and Washington, D.C., needed to strengthen privileged access management and identity protection as cyber threats and compliance requirements increased. The company was concerned about passwords being written down and wanted a more secure, easier-to-manage way to protect privileged accounts. CyberArk helped Federated Insurance address these risks with its Identity Security platform and Privileged Access Manager.

CyberArk implemented a self-hosted privileged access management solution for Federated Insurance’s IT team, supported by internal “CyberArk champions” to drive adoption across the business. As a result, the company improved its security posture, protected sensitive data such as PII, and removed passwords from end-user devices. Federated Insurance also reported that annual security assessments now consistently show a high cybersecurity stance, and CyberArk makes audits and cyber insurance applications easier by clearly demonstrating strong privileged account protection.
