Case Study: Digicentre helps Gamania Group reduce cyberattack risk with CyberArk

Taiwanese gaming, e-commerce and tech group selects cyberark to protect millions of customers

Digicentre, the IT and cybersecurity arm of Gamania Group, faced the challenge of protecting millions of customers and staff across gaming, e-commerce, and payment businesses from increasing cyberattacks and ransomware risk. To strengthen its identity security strategy, Digicentre worked with CyberArk and selected CyberArk Privileged Access Manager and CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager to better control privileged access and reduce exposure.

CyberArk implemented a phased identity security rollout that centralized password and access policy management, removed local admin rights, and improved endpoint protection across the group. As a result, Gamania Group improved its security posture, detected and stopped more incidents faster, reduced security alerts, and increased operational efficiency and productivity, while making onboarding, offboarding, and auditing easier.
