Rockwell automation implements pam without sacrificing productivity

Rockwell Automation, a global industrial automation provider with ~23,000 employees, faced the challenge of securing and standardizing thousands of privileged accounts across diverse Windows and Unix environments. The company needed automated password management, role-based access control, audit-ready metrics (e.g., Cobit DS5.4), and an agile solution that multiple teams could manage without harming productivity.

Rockwell implemented the CyberArk Privileged Access Manager (integrated with SailPoint IIQ, SIEM and vulnerability tools), using auto-discovery, automated provisioning and role definitions to enforce policies. Deployed in about two months, the solution cut operational costs, sped onboarding, centralized control and visibility of privileged risk, automated password rotation and improved cross-team collaboration and audit readiness.
