Rabobank, a major global financial services provider with about 59,000 employees serving some 10 million customers in 48 countries, needed to modernize how it managed highly privileged accounts. An internal review found manual password processes created operational inefficiency, audit exposure and compliance challenges, so Rabobank International sought a scalable solution to automate privileged-password lifecycles, tighten controls and improve accountability.

Rabobank deployed the CyberArk Privileged Access Manager across Europe, integrating it with existing systems and replacing redundant tools. The implementation automated password rotation and self-service access, centralized auditing and accountability, and required minimal support—enabling the bank to manage five times more accounts, reduce risk, simplify compliance and report zero downtime, with plans for a global rollout.
