A CyberArk Case Study
A leading provider of online services to the automotive industry planned a Blue Prism RPA rollout to streamline operations but faced a critical security challenge: unattended RPA robots require privileged credentials to access systems, and those credentials could be exploited if not properly managed. The company needed to protect credentials used by bots, administrators and engineers without complicating security operations or delaying deployment.
The company integrated CyberArk Secrets Manager and CyberArk Privileged Access Manager with Blue Prism (via CyberArk’s C3 Alliance and Blueprint for Identity Security Success) to centralize secrets in a digital vault, remove credentials from RPA scripts, control access to the Blue Prism console, and automate credential rotation. This approach accelerated time-to-value for the RPA rollout, reduced risk of credential theft and data exfiltration, simplified SecOps, and extended existing CyberArk investments while enabling future expansion to additional applications.
