A CyberArk Case Study
A large North American financial services company—among the 25 largest U.S. banks with over $60 billion in assets and 8,600 employees—needed to modernize and scale its business banking and treasury services. Manual, courier- and FTP-based processes for Cash Letter, ACH, ARP and lock-box files limited growth, increased operational risk, and made meeting security and compliance requirements difficult as the bank expanded digital services for business customers.
The bank deployed CyberArk’s Sensitive Information Management Solution, a governed, automated managed-file-transfer platform that integrated with existing systems (HA/DR, LDAP, SIEM, backups) and replaced legacy FTP/encryption tools. The solution enabled secure, auditable exchange of thousands of files daily, supported payroll services for over 2,200 businesses, processes ~26,000 files weekly (≈3,700 nightly), reduced costs and manual effort, accelerated time to market for new services, and met strict security and compliance needs.
