Garanti Bbva Secures All Human and Non-human Access for Regulatory and Security Standards’ Compliance

Garanti BBVA, one of Turkey’s most digitized banks, needed to strengthen security and meet strict regulatory and security compliance requirements while protecting both human and non-human access across its on-premises and private cloud environments. The bank partnered with CyberArk to manage privileged accounts and support its broader identity security strategy.

CyberArk helped Garanti BBVA expand from privileged access management into application and cloud application security, with deep integrations across business applications and DevOps workflows. The result was stronger defense against privileged account takeover and lateral movement, more efficient least-privilege administration, and lower development costs through early secrets management; CyberArk also enabled the bank to isolate and monitor privileged sessions during the COVID-19 period to support compliance and secure operations.
