Capcom Strengthens Its Security by Protecting Sensitive Information in Game Development Environments

Capcom needed a stronger way to protect sensitive information in its game development environments without disrupting developers’ work. The company chose CyberArk Privileged Access Manager to centralize privileged access management across development projects and reduce the burden on its teams.

CyberArk implemented an agentless PAM approach with support from JBS, starting with new projects and then expanding to existing ones for full-scale protection in June 2022. The result was centralized account management, better visibility into server access and usage through log auditing, and no impact on day-to-day productivity; Capcom also gained insights that could help optimize server operations and strengthen overall security further.
