Case Study: Panasonic Information Systems achieves automated, scalable privileged access management with CyberArk

A CyberArk Case Study

Preview of the Panasonic Information Systems Case Study

Panasonic Information Systems transforms security operations across the Panasonic Group with CyberArk PAM

Panasonic Information Systems, the IT strategy organization for the Panasonic Group, needed a stronger way to manage privileged access across thousands of servers after a 2021 security incident. Its existing process relied heavily on server administrators and lacked sufficient audit capabilities, making it difficult to ensure compliance and reduce operational burden. CyberArk Privileged Access Manager Self-Hosted was selected to help centralize and strengthen privilege access management.

By implementing CyberArk PAM, Panasonic Information Systems automated privileged access controls, centralized authentication and audit trails, and reduced manual work for IT teams. The company can now track who accessed which server and what actions were taken, improving compliance and deterrence against unauthorized access. The solution is being rolled out across several thousand Windows and Linux servers, with full deployment planned by the end of 2025.
