Hippo Insurance, operating in a highly regulated property insurance environment, needed a better way to manage user access reviews across dozens of SaaS and cloud applications. Manual reviews and audit preparation were taking up to two weeks per application and required coordination across InfoSec, HR, and legal, creating a heavy burden as the company grew. Hippo Insurance turned to CyberArk and its modern identity governance solution to address the challenge.

CyberArk implemented automated access review workflows and data collection across Hippo Insurance’s applications, including cloud environments like AWS. As a result, more than 90% of manual review tasks were automated, review cycles dropped from two weeks to two days, and most certifications could be completed by just two InfoSec team members. CyberArk also improved reporting for compliance and external audits, helping Hippo Insurance meet SOX 404(b) requirements more efficiently.
