Cabinet Office boosts successful assessments for BAME candidates by 120% with Cyber-Duck

The Cabinet Office faced a challenge with its Fast Stream Assessment Centre (FSAC), an in-person, paper-based process that was less likely to succeed for underrepresented candidates. To increase diversity and operational efficiency, they engaged Cyber-Duck to design and build a secure, inclusive, and fully remote digital platform.

Cyber-Duck implemented a human-centred Service Design approach, creating a Drupal-based web application that met GDS standards. The solution dramatically improved outcomes, including a 120% increase in successful BAME candidates and a 63% increase in successful disabled candidates, while achieving a 100% client satisfaction rating for Cyber-Duck.
