Case Study: M&S improves bakery availability and reduces waste with Cybake ISB

M&S - Customer Case Study

M&S, a major UK retailer, sought to improve freshness and availability and reduce waste within its in-store bakeries. Their challenge was to consistently bake the right products at the right times across all stores throughout the day. They contacted vendor Cybake Bakery Software to develop a solution after reading about their work in the trade press.

Cybake created a cloud-based system, Cybake ISB, which provided an easy-to-use interface for demand forecasting and production planning. Following successful trials, the solution was rolled out to all M&S stores in the UK and Ireland. Cybake's implementation led to improved product availability, an increase in sales, and a reduction in waste for the customer.
