A CXC Global Case Study

Preview of the International Airline of Hong Kong Case Study

Integrated solution for managing non-employee workers

International Airline of Hong Kong, a major Hong Kong-based carrier flying to 162 destinations in 42 countries and employing 33,000 people worldwide, needed a compliant and cost-effective way to manage its contingent workforce across Asia-Pacific. Before working with CXC Global, the airline wanted to improve efficiency across 30+ recruitment agencies, standardize contractor agreements, strengthen compliance for visas and insurance, reduce co-employment and data risks, and better control spend across non-employee workers.

CXC Global implemented an end-to-end Managed Service Program (MSP) with an on-site team in Hong Kong, including employer-of-record and contractor management outsourcing for all contractors. The solution covered agency coordination, hiring manager training, CV screening, shortlisting, onboarding, tenure management, talent pool management, and reporting, helping the airline manage over 180 non-employee workers and 17 suppliers. Results included HK$3 million in annual recruitment savings, time-to-hire reduced to five weeks, agency margins cut by 7% to 10%, 100% successful visa processing within required timeframes, and significantly improved workforce efficiency and compliance.
